About Me

Hello! I am a meteorologist, data scientist, and outdoor-enthused freelance writer based in Minnesota. My background is in Atmospheric Science where I first developed a sense of curiosity and fascination for the weather and the outdoors. I took on a research project studying snowfall over the Greenland ice sheet and had the profound opportunity to visit the ice sheet and experience the vast beauty for myself. Snow has forever etched a place in my heart and led me to northern Minnesota. 

I transitioned to a career as a data scientist where I manage to blend playing with numbers with visual and written storytelling. However, I never let myself stop exploring, adventuring, and learning new outdoor hobbies. I believe a connection to nature is fundamental to the human experience. I strive to understand and celebrate these unique connections through writing.
